Valencia (19.11.21). The professors of the Valencian Community Orchestra inaugurate this day, November 21, at 12:00 p.m., the cycle 'Matins a Les Arts'.
The Main Hall once again opens its first doors on the Christmas matins with this activity, allowing citizens to enjoy their first experience at the theater in its most emblematic space.
For only five euros, the Arts offer to discover the most artistic activity accompanied by its main activities and to contemplate an exhibition of costumes from the theater's most acclaimed productions.
On this occasion, the Valencian Community Orchestra, in a chamber music formation, performs for this musical matinee a program that pays homage to the Valencian Francisco Cuesta, whose centenary of his death is celebrated in 2021, with the work 'Suite in ancient style'.
Complete the musical proposal with pages of notable contemporary composers: 'Suite Holberg, op. 40' d'Edvard Grieg, 'Serenade for Strings, op. 20' by Edward Elgar and 'Simple Symphony, op. 4' by Benjamin Britten.
Additionally, the Main Lobby houses an exhibition of costumes from the first production that Les Arts put forward of an opera by Benjamin Britten: 'A Midsummer Night's Dream', under the stage direction of the Scotsman Paul Curran.
