Valencia (2.4.25). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía will host the world premiere of 'Prometeo' this coming Thursday, April 10th, the new show by the choreographer from Elche and director of the OtraDanza company, Asun Noales, as part of the Les Arts 2024-2025 Season program and in the context of the current edition of Dansa València, which takes place from April 5th to 13th.
The artistic director of Les Arts, Jesús Iglesias Noriega, the deputy director of Performing Arts of the IVC, María José Mora; and the director of OtraDanza, Asun Noales, presented this show today at a press conference, which will be performed until April 12 at the Teatre Martín i Soler.
'Prometheus' is a production of Les Arts in co-production with OtraDanza, the Institut Valencià de Cultura-Festival Dansa Valencia, the Auditorio de Tenerife and the Centro Danza Matadero.
Jesús Iglesias Noriega has framed this collaboration between Les Arts and Dansa València within the commitment to establish synergies with the main assets of the cultural fabric of the Valencian Community and to consolidate dance as an essential axis of the programming.
As he recalled, 'Prometeo' is the third new dance production since he took over as director of Les Arts, with 'Âtman, el comiat' by Ananda Dansa (2020) and 'Titanas' by Sol Picó (2022), within a line of work with the purpose of vindicating Valencian talent, of which "Asun Noales is at this moment one of its main ambassadors."
