In the following sections, we briefly summarize the concerts that will take place this year, both at Les Arts and in other areas of our city.

Classical music concerts

If you want to enjoy classical music in Valencia, we highly recommend the Verdi Marathon currently taking place. You can check out the various activities scheduled until April 10th.

The Marató brings the composer's most immortal melodies to every corner of the Valencian Community through participatory activities in collaboration with various conservatories and other institutions.

Another classical music concert scheduled for 2022 is that of the young Polish countertenor Jakub Józef Orličski , who has burst onto the international opera scene, becoming one of the most prominent figures of our time. He will be at Les Arts on May 15th.

Jazz concert in Valencia

Any guitar and jazz music enthusiast shouldn't miss the concert in Valencia by jazz legend Pat Mentheny , who will be performing at our auditorium on June 22nd. The American guitarist has just released his latest album, From This Place, a double album featuring ten new compositions performed with a quartet of renowned musicians and a symphony orchestra.

Live concerts

In keeping with Les Arts' commitment to bringing its activities to other venues in the Valencian Community in collaboration with other cultural institutions, a series of voice and piano recitals is being offered in museums in Valencia and Castellón. The final concert in this series will take place on May 21st at the Valencian Institute of Modern Art.

Flamenco concert in Valencia

Ready to win over flamenco fans with her seguiriyas, fandangos, and bulerías, María Terremoto arrives in Valencia with a wide-ranging repertoire. The flamenco singer will perform on May 28th at Les Arts.

Orchestra and band concerts

Les Arts collaborates with the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community (FSMCV) in organizing the " Bands at Les Arts " series. Comprising several days of two concerts each, this series features musical societies from various towns, performing works related to the themes of Les Arts' programming.

Another concert that promises to be one of the highlights of the season will feature Mark Elder , current principal conductor of the Hallé Orchestra in Manchester and a key figure in the artistic growth of the English National Opera. Under his baton, the Orquesta de la Comunitat Valenciana and the Cor de la Generalitat Valenciana will perform several compositions by Stravinsky and Strauss.
