Valencia (May 9, 2022). The Palau de les Arts merges 'tech house' music and opera for the 'Pre-premiere for those under 28' of 'Wozzeck' by Alban Berg, the last of the titles in the cycle of performances that Les Arts reserves for those under 29 years of age with tickets at a single price of 10 euros.

To mark the premiere in Valencia of one of the most revolutionary operas in the repertoire, Les Arts is offering a unique experience on May 23rd, where the audience, in addition to the performance, can enjoy a full evening with a DJ and catering service until 11:00 pm.

After the performance of 'Wozzeck', Les Arts will transform the Pasarela into an authentic dance floor inspired by the aesthetics of the striking and avant-garde production of this opera, which has been one of the greatest technical and artistic challenges in the history of the theater.

Roberto Sansixto will be the master of ceremonies. The Valencian DJ, who has shared the stage with artists such as David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and Steve Aoki, is fusing electronic music and opera for the first time in his career. For his set at Les Arts, Sansixto will present a predominantly tech house repertoire, which he will mix with vocal excerpts from Berg's opera.

Under the hashtag #AfterOpera, attendees will be able to share their feelings and opinions about this cross-disciplinary experience, with which Les Arts, in its commitment to welcoming new genres and artistic proposals, seeks to bring new audiences closer to opera.

The preview performance of 'Wozzeck' for young people up to 28 years old will take place on Monday, May 23, at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Hall. The performance is scheduled to last 1 hour and 40 minutes. Les Arts reminds the public that tickets, priced at a single rate of 10 euros, can be purchased through various sales channels.
