Valencia (01.07.22). Les Arts launches the 2021-2022 season on July 8 and 9 with 'Nit a Les Arts': two nights of free activities for all the public, with a large window of offers in the different exits of the buildings from 8:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. in the morning.
After several editions scheduled for the pandemic, Les Arts recovers the 'nit en blanc' series, which, in the ninth celebration, included technical-artistic shows with the Cor de la Generalitat and the artists of the Center de Perfectionament, concerts by the Valencian Community Orchestra conducted by Sergio Sáez, two opera performances 'El tutor burlat', an exhibition of costumes and props and two DJ music sessions with Eduardo Díaz (NO FROST).
In parallel to the exercise of artistic activity, Les Arts opened, from 8:30 p.m., the following areas of light to travel to all those who are familiar with and gaudir from the spaces to the open air of the operatic enclavament, which will have restoration services.
Starting at 8:00 p.m., the five technical-artistic passes begin (8:50 p.m., 9:40 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and 12:20 a.m.) that allow you to contemplate behind the scenes like the treball on the stage of the Main Hall.
In groups of up to 240 people, the assistants have the opportunity to combine an 'ad hoc' show, lasting 40 minutes, the operation of the stage machinery, lighting, audiovisuals and all the elements necessary to stage an opera performance, in this exhibited in which the singers of the Center de Perfectionament and the Cor de la Generalitat participate.
For its part, the Valencian Community Orchestra (OCV) will discover an unprecedented space for the general public, the Sala d'Assajos de l'Orquestra, in which the main group of Les Arts will offer three concerts, lasting 40 minutes, under the musical direction of Sergio Sáez, professor of the OCV.
The repertoire of each show of the three shows (8:50 p.m., 9:50 p.m. and 11:50 p.m.) will be integrated with famous opera and sarsuela overtures. Public access is from the eleventh floor of the building, located on the Terrasses de les Palmeres.
On this floor, Espai Los Toros will host an exhibition of costumes and props, with figurines and scenic elements from some of the most significant productions of Les Arts.
On the other hand, the Teatre Martín i Soler will open the performances at 10:00 p.m. followed by a performance of 'El tutor burlat', the first opera by Vicent Martín i Soler, in the Valencian version, which will be sung by young singers and antics students from the Center de Perfectionament accompanied on the piano.
Jaume Policarpo directs this colorful and fun production that, in addition to the performances of Les Arts, successfully tours different municipalities of the Valencian Community on the 'Les Arts Volant' road.
At 0.30 a.m., DJ Eduardo Díaz (NO FROST) will turn the terraces of the eleventh floor, with a view of the Túria garden, into a large ball court with a music session, which will accompany the activities of the two days to the rhythm of 'dance'. The center d'arts will charge the ports the night of the holiday to the end at 2:00 in the morning, and one hour later, at 3:00 a.m., the night of the day of the end of the day.
