Valencia (06.09.22). The Palau de les Arts celebrates this day, September 11, the fortnight edition of the second open day, with which the building designed by Santiago Calatrava presents the activity to the public.

The Arts will open this day from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the time when the last groups of visitors will enter to tour the various spaces, such as the Main Hall, the Auditorium, or the Los Toros Space.

Throughout the tour, the public will also be able to see other proposals, such as an exhibition of opera costumes in the main lobby or the 'in situ' work by urban artist Julieta XLF, which will commemorate the day with the creation of a mural on the main walkway.

Així mateix, its hours serve as a cafeteria, located in the lobby of the Main Room, throughout the day.

For this band, the Valencian Community Orchestra (OCV) and the artists of the Center de Perfectionament del Palau de les Arts will be the protagonists of the musical offering.

The Teatre Martín i Soler will host two sessions, at 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., of a recital in which the young singers and pianists of the Les Arts training project will perform popular fragments of opera and sarsuela.

The OCV, for its band, will be in charge of closing the day with a symphonic concert, which Álvaro Albiach will conduct at the Auditori at 7:30 p.m. The Valencian master will premiere, with the main line-up of Les Arts, 'Sorolla breu suite', composed by the alzirenc Juan José Colomer from the music of his ballet 'Sorolla' created by the National Ballet of Spain, which will serve as a prelude to the centenary of the birth of the Valencian painter in 2023.

The program also includes two works that allow viewers to experience the excellence of the Valencian Community Orchestra, 'L'Arlésienne suite no. 1', by Georges Bizet, and, with a culmination, the tremendously expressive 'Simfonia no. 7' by Dvo?ák, the author's masterpiece and one of the most important pages of the symphonic repertoire.

Les Arts informs that free venues for various musical purposes are sold out.
