Valencia (25.10.2022). Tomatito, from Almería, considered the best ambassador of the art of the guitar in the world, is in charge of opening the 'Les Arts és Flamenco' cycle of this season with the show 'Viviré', which he will present next Saturday, November 5 at 8:00 p.m. in the Auditori de Les Arts.

The five-time Grammy winner has performed in iconic venues such as Carnegie Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, and has accompanied flamenco singers of the stature of Camarón de la Isla, with whom he toured stages around the world for almost twenty years and with whom he shares one of his Grammy Awards.

The show 'Viviré', which highlights the legacy of his friend Camarón, has the same name as the bulería that gave title to the album that the legendary singer released in 1984, and which featured the collaboration of the Almerian guitarist himself and the renowned Paco de Lucía.

At his concert at Les Arts, he is accompanied by special guest artists Juan Rafael Cortés Santiago 'Duquende' and Antonio Reyes, whose voices evoke the nuances of the legendary flamenco singer they are honoring. In addition to his own son, José del Tomate, on second guitar, the show features backing vocals and handclaps by Morenito de Illora and Santiago Cortiñas, and Israel Suárez 'Piraña' on percussion.

Together they will perform pieces known to lovers of the genre, such as 'Leyenda del Tiempo', 'Two Much' or 'Bulería de la Pluma', among many other songs that are part of this program that has garnered both public and critical acclaim.

Tickets to see Tomatito at the Auditori range from €28 to €40. Tickets are now available on the Les Arts website: www.lesarts.com .
