Les Arts will offer a streaming of 'Don Giovanni' for more than 20 municipalities and musical societies of the Valencian Community

• 'Don Giovanni', one of Mozart's most iconic works, has had the 'no locations' sign for all its latest performances

• This activity closes the 'Marató Mozart', which has included operas, recitals, concerts and col·loquis al voltant by the famous composer

Valencia (10.03.23). Les Arts will offer in streaming the last performance of 'Don Giovanni', next March 12 at 6:30 p.m., for more than 20 town councils and musical societies of the Valencian Community.

The retransmission of 'Don Giovanni' will be the last of the activities of the 'Mozart Marathon', which since February 27 has offered a complete calendar of proposals in response to the figure of the Salzburg genius with concerts, recitals, opera, col loquis, workshops and educational activities in the three provinces of the Valencian Community. The initiative is developed in collaboration with Tourism of the Valencian Community.

The Arts continues even more with the initiative committed to streaming and the new technologies with an eines of overture and territorialization of the new artistic offer after the good support of this initiative in previous editions. According to Jesús Iglesias Noriega, artistic director of the theater, “it is essential that an autonomous institution with Les Arts develop actions to reach what is located in the Valencian territory.”

Riccardo Minasi musically directs 'Don Giovanni,' by Mozart, which represents Valencia in the emblematic production of Damiano Michieletto, which will already have excellent support from the public and the specialized press in its premiere at La Fenice in Venice.

Les Arts brings together a cast of young people but renowned actors, with Davide Luciano in the lead role, along with Ruth Iniesta, Riccardo Fassi, Elsa Dreisig, Giovanni Sala, Gianluca Buratto, Jacquelyn Stucker and Adolfo Corrado.

Ajuntaments and musical societies

In total, 22 municipalities and musical societies are releasing the streaming signal for 'Don Giovanni' this day, March 12. In addition to the councils of Bocairent, Gandia, Museros, Requena, Sueca and Xirivella, the musical societies of the following localities will also participate: Albal, Alboraia, Albuixech, Alcublas, Atzeneta d'Albaida, Beneixama, Benifairó de la Valldigna, Benimodo, Catadau, Fuenterrobles, Manises, Rocafort, Sot de Ferrer and Vilavella, beyond the neighborhoods of Tres Forques and Natzaret in the city of Valencia.
