Valencia (19.01.2024). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía inaugurates the second edition of its 'Músiques Valencianes' cycle on Saturday, January 27, with a performance by 'Santero y los muchachos' in the Auditori at 8.00 p.m.

For three consecutive weeks, 'Les Arts és Músiques Valencianes' will focus on the musical scene of the Valencian Community with five concerts by artists and groups to showcase the great diversity of genres cultivated in the Community: from alternative rock and electronic music, to singer-songwriter music and traditional 'cants de batre'.

Next Saturday, 'Santero y Los Muchachos' will culminate their tour of twenty Spanish cities at Les Arts, where they have presented their latest work 'Royal Cantina', a double album that combines acoustic and intimate sounds with more electric and powerful productions.

Santero y Los Muchachos has been one of the fastest growing Spanish bands during 2023. The Valencian rock group, made up of Miguel Ángel Escrivá, vocals; Joseman Escrivá, guitar and backing vocals; Soni Artal, guitar and backing vocals; and Marc Guardiola, drums and backing vocals; has established itself on national stages, in a year in which they also made their first foray into Central America with their performance in Mexico last September.

'Royal Cantina' is the third album in the discography of the Valencian band, formed by musicians with a solid track record who previously played in groups such as La Pulquería, Madnoise, Absenta or Badlands among others.

After their acclaimed debut with 'Ventura', their first LP, in 2017, their second work 'Ríoflorido' confirmed the Valencians and their laid-back rock as one of the strongest bands on the national scene.

Tickets for the performance of Santero and Los Muchachos at the Auditori de Les Arts are priced from 20 euros.

After this concert, 'Les Arts és Músiques Valencianes' will continue its programming at the Teatre Martín i Soler until February 10 with concerts by Noelia Llorens 'Titana', Àlex Blat, Margarita Quebrada y Xenia, and Sandra Monfort.
