  • The Teatre Martín i Soler will once again host this series, which will take place entirely in February 2027.

Valencia (23.7.26). The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía once again offers in its 'Músiques Valencianes' cycle a multifaceted look at the most relevant sounds, groups and soloists of the regional scene, with a lineup that, in this edition, includes Valencian artists of different generations and trajectories and a repertoire that ranges from folk to singer-songwriter, passing through 'indie' mestizo to electronic music.

During February 2027, the Teatre Martín i Soler at Les Arts will showcase the diversity and richness of the Valencian Community's musical scene with four performances: Sons d'Embat + Maria Faubel (5), AnimalPersona (6), Alejandro y María Laura (13), and Feliu Ventura (14). All concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The series begins on Thursday, February 5, with a double performance by Sons d'Embat and Maria Fabuel. Hailing from Ontinyent, Sons d'Embat reinterprets folk songs and musical traditions with arrangements inspired by the popular melodies of the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean. Following their acclaimed album 'Un vent manxaire', the group, led by Pau Barberà, will present their new work, due out this September, at Les Arts.

For her part, Maria Faubel will present her third album, 'Miralls', a critical and introspective look at the collective, in which the singer-songwriter and percussionist from Llíria seamlessly intertwines the personal and the social, with themes that address everything from her personal experiences to the current events that surround her.

On Friday, February 6th, Les Arts welcomes AnimalPersona, the new electric project from Carles Chiner, former frontman for seven years of Gener, one of the most awarded and acclaimed groups on the circuit. Alongside two former members of the beloved Valencian band, Enric Alepuz (drums) and Vicent Todolí (keyboards), plus Carlos Soler (bass) and Samuel Reina (guitar), they will present 'Bestiari', a blend of soul, blues, pop, psychedelia, synth-pop, and contemporary folk, maintaining Gener's creative spirit while expanding its stylistic range.

Alejandro (Rivas) and María Laura (Bustamante), with their full band, will headline the session on Thursday, February 13th. The Peruvian couple, based in Paiporta, cultivates a repertoire closely linked to indie folk and singer-songwriter music. Built on a foundation of acoustic guitars, gentle percussion, and a careful use of silence, their music blends intimacy, nostalgia, and observations of everyday life. With a solid career behind them, their fifth album, 'Dos Hemisferios' (Two Hemispheres), earned them a nomination in the Best Singer-Songwriter Album category at the 2025 Latin Grammy Awards.

On Friday, February 14, Feliu Ventura will close the series with the presentation of 'Tot el que hem guanyat perdent' to the audience at Les Arts. This album marks the return of the singer-songwriter from Xàtiva after three years of silence. In his latest work, he combines the critical yet tender perspective that has always characterized his work with a renewed sound, where pop-folk merges with new electronic textures, in a collective journey with song as a tool for transformation.

Tickets for 'Les Arts és Músiques Valencianes' can be purchased through the different sales channels of the theater: box offices, the sales line 96 197 59 00 and the Les Arts website.
