Lisette Oropesa

Lisette Oropesa is one of the most sought-after coloratura sopranos of her generation, performing at the world's leading opera houses, including the Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden, La Scala, and the opera houses of Vienna, Paris and Munich.
Named Singer of the Year at the 2024 International Opera Awards, she is particularly acclaimed for her portrayal of Violetta in La traviata (Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden, Paris, Teatro Real, Arena di Verona and Vienna) and the title role in Maria Stuarda (Madrid and Salzburg).
Her other signature roles include Lucia di Lammermoor, Gilda in Rigoletto, Elvira in I puritani and Manon.
During the 2026–2027 season, she makes her debut as Norma in Savonlinna and as Liù in Turandot at the Arena di Verona. She also performs Alcina at Covent Garden and the Teatro di San Carlo, and portrays Giulietta in I Capuleti e i Montecchi at the Liceu and in Vienna.
