Bass Ángel Agustín Albornoz, originally from Rosario del Tala, Argentina, is currently studying at the Higher Institute of Art of the Teatro Colón, where he is honing his skills with Alejandra Malvino and Maestro Sergio Giai. He has attended masterclasses with internationally renowned figures such as David Gowland (Royal Opera House) and Eytan Pessen. Some of his first solo roles include Betto di Signa in Gianni Schicchi and the First Soldier in Salome, both at the Teatro Colón. He has also played the Doctor and the Assassin in Macbeth at the Teatro Avenida in Buenos Aires, as well as the Doctor in La traviata or Colline in La bohème. As a singer with the Teatro Colón's resident choir, he was selected to be a cover artist in productions such as Billy's Budd. It is currently part of the Center de Perfectionament del Palau de les Arts.
