Filipp Modestov

She was born in Krasnoyarsk (Siberia). She was a winner of the Dmitri Hvorostovsky Scholarship and the Elena Obraztsova Chamber Music Competition in St. Petersburg. She trained in the vocal master's program at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, after completing vocal studies at the A.G. Schnittke State Music Institute in Moscow. She made her debut as Dona Cate in Il campiello. She studied at the Wolf-Ferrari School of Music at the Mozarteum University, and in 2023 she participated in the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino's youth program, as well as the European project Opera out of Opera 2. She has performed at the La Voce Festival in Bad Reichenhall, with the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, and in a concert in memory of Beniamino Gigli in Rome. She is a member of the Centre de Perfeccionament at the Palau de les Arts, under the guidance of soprano María Bayo.
