Ekaterine Buachidze

A native of Tbilisi, Georgia, she studied singing at the conservatory there and participated in several concerts performing Rossini arias. In 2023, she joined the Rome Opera's "Fabbrica" Young Artists Program, where she performed roles such as Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly , La Ciesca in Gianni Schicchi , and Flora in La traviata , which she reprised on tour in Japan with Maestro Michele Mariotti and stage direction by Sofia Coppola. She recently won first prize and received three special prizes at the Tebaldi-Gigli-Corelli Competition in Pesaro. In 2024, she made her Verona Arena debut as Rosina in Il barbiere di Siviglia and joined the Opernstudio of the Bayerische Staatsoper.
