Joaquín Cangemi

Joaquín Cangemi (France, 1997) is an Italian-Argentine tenor trained in prestigious institutions such as the Accademia del Teatro Comunale Pavarotti-Freni in Modena, the Conservatorio Nacional in Argentina, the École Normale de Musique de Paris and the Conservatorio Peri-Merulo in Reggio Emilia. He was selected by the Accademia Rodolfo Celletti in Martina Franca and won the Concorso Internazionale "Comunità Europea" of the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale in Spoleto. He has performed roles in titles such as Don Giovanni, Così fan tutte, Gianni Schicchi, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Falstaff and I pagliacci. He is currently a member of the Centre de Perfeccionament del Palau de les Arts, under the advice of Spanish soprano María Bayo.
