General Conditions for Ticket Sales

NATURE OF THE GENERAL CONDITIONS
The General Conditions for Sale of Seats are applicable both to seats included in Season Tickets and Cycles and to individual seat purchases. The Fundació Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía reserves the right to modify these general conditions at any point during the current programme (09-10) if conditions arising during that period should so require it. Likewise, the Palau de les Arts reserves the right to establish Special Conditions for the sale of some performances or cycles. Those performances given in the Palau de les Arts but which are not included in its season are not subject to these general conditions nor to the promotional policy of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.
PROGRAMME CHANGES
The Palau de les Arts, Fundació de la Comunitat Valenciana, if performers are indisposed, because of technical problems or force majeur, or if other circumstances require it, may suspend performances, alter the nature of the production foreseen, dates, times, programmes and performers announced in advance.
CHANGE IN SEAT PRICES
The Fundació Palau de les Arts reserves the right to change the price of performances at any moment. These modifications will not have effect on tickets already paid for.
SEAT REIMBURSEMENT
Seat tickets cannot be changed or reimbursed. The definitive cancellation of the performance will be the only admissible justification for the return of the value of seat tickets. The Fundació will establish a time period for the handling of these returns, and no claim will be considered once this period is over.
CHANGES OF SEAT LOCATION
You may purchase a maximum of 4 seats per programmed show, depending on availability at the moment of purchase. This maximum number may be modified if the Fundació so wishes.

TICKET COLLECTION
Seat tickets purchased may be collected only from the Palau de les Arts Box Office, and any problems dealt with there, up to 45 minutes before start of performance time. Otherwise, the Theatre cannot guarantee access to the performance venues: Confirm collection dates in the section for Seat Tickets and Season Tickets (Localidades y Abonos) on our web site at the beginning of each season.
PROMOTIONAL SEAT TICKETS
If promotional seat tickets for young people, students, the retired, pensioners, or the disabled were not used by the legitimate beneficiaries, the Fundació may refuse access and cancel the remaining promotional seat tickets.
SUBTITLING SERVICE
El servicio de subtitulación en la Sala Principal es gratuito. No dará lugar a devolución de localidades en caso de funcionamiento deficiente o nulo del servicio.
PRICE RATE ZONES
The seats in the various performance venues of the Palau de les Arts - Reina Sofía correspond to different zones of rates according to visibility, accessibility and comfort conditions. The seats in Zone 6 have no view of the stage.
RECORDING AND PHOTOGRAPHS
The use of cameras, filming or recording equipment for any end is strictly forbidden within the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.
OBJECTS ON THE BALCONY RAILS
Objects must not be placed on the rails of the balconies in the performance venues.
UNDERAGE CHILDREN.
The Fundació does not recommend that children under the age of 12 attend performances which are not expressly aimed at a young audience. In all cases, underage children must be accompanied by an adult, and a self seating ticket will be required. The Fundació reserves the right to request that an underage child and his/her adult companion leave the performance venue if it is considered that he/she is causing any disturbance for the rest of the audience.
PUNCTUALITY
Out of consideration for the audience and the performers, maximum punctuality is requested. Entry to the performance venues will not be allowed once the performance has started. Access to the performance venue will only be permitted at the indication of the staff in charge.
MOBILE TELEPHONES
In application of Law 28/2005, of 26th December, regarding health measures against tobacco, smoking is not permitted within any part of the premises of the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.
SMOKE FREE AREA
En aplicación de la Ley 28/2005, de 26 de diciembre, de medidas sanitarias contra el tabaquismo, no está permitido fumar en todo el recinto del Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía.

SALES POINTS
The Theatre does not take responsibility for tickets acquired outside the official points of sale. In case of any incident on access to the Theatre, the Fundació declines all responsibility.
SUGGESTIONS AND CLAIMS
Fundació Suggestions and Claims Forms are available for spectators. Any claim must be sent with a copy to the Fundació Palau de les Arts.
